The Reference Center for Artificial Intelligence (CEREIA), a Research Center based at Federal University of Ceará in Brazil, is offering a set of postdoctoral fellowships in Artificial Intelligence. Brazilian and foreign researchers who have obtained a doctoral degree less than 7 (seven) years ago, either in the country or abroad, with outstanding performance in a research area related to the scholarship activities, may apply.
The selected candidate in the Research Line “High Quality Interfaces for Data Science” (Ref. PDA1C3) will contribute to increasing the number of participants in clinical research by developing a recommendation system based on artificial intelligence. This system will assist healthcare practitioners in identifying eligible patients for real-time inclusion in clinical studies using medical record data.
The position is a one-year contract funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP). The fellowship may be extended for an additional year, depending on performance and availability of funds.

This opportunity is open to candidates of any nationality. The selected candidate will receive a Post-Doctoral fellowship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) in the amount of BRL 9,047.40 monthly and a research contingency fund, equivalent to 10% of the annual value of the fellowship which should be spent in items directly related to the research activity. The implementation of the grant is subject to the approval of the selected candidate by FAPESP.
